Formed in 1980 as the Avalon Hospital Foundation, the purpose of the Catalina Island Health Foundation is to help facilitate quality health care on Santa Catalina Island. The Foundation aims to inform the public of the goals and guiding principles of Catalina Island Health and works to provide funding and resources to help achieve them.
